Downtown Fairbanks

I am Maxine Dibert and I’m running to represent downtown Fairbanks in the Alaska House of Representatives.

I am Koyukon Athabascan Indian with deep roots in Alaska. I’m a mom, a teacher, a union member, a friend, colleague, and neighbor; I will bring all of these strong connections with me to Juneau and act as a true representative of our community.
Inside and outside of the classroom, I’m driven by the belief that our youth need to see themselves as future contributors to our community. That’s why when I’m not teaching, you will find me partnering with UAF on STEM programs that engage our youth.

As someone who was born and raised in Fairbanks, I see myself as a product of this community. I never envisioned myself as a political person. But I love this community and I’m dedicated to making it a better place for the next generation. I hope you’ll join me!
